David Grace has worked as a photojournalist in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia for more than 25 years. He has worked for the Washington County News, the Bristol Herald Courier, and is now the Photo & Graphics Editor for the Kingsport Times News. He has taught photography at Emory & Henry College and the William King Regional Arts Center. His work has appeared in the newspapers such as the Washington Post and the New York Times. His magazine credits include Smithsonian, McCall’s, Sports Illustrated, Information Age and American Banker. His work has also appeared on Court TV and MSNBC. Being a photojournalist has given him the opportunity to photograph Presidents Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush; along with a lot of everyday people whom he says were much more interesting.
